Microsoft Purview
- DLP policies with their rules, created in simulation mode.
- Retention policies with their rules, created switched off, and never with Preservation Lock.
- Sensitivity labels: encryption, headers and footers, watermarks, site and group protection, and documented advanced settings. Sublabels are created after their parents.
- Label policies, linked to the labels migrated with them.
- Endpoint DLP's tenant-wide settings.
Policies using adaptive scopes are left out, and settings that New-Label doesn't document are listed for you rather than sent.
Microsoft Teams
- Meeting, messaging, calling, app setup, app permission, channels and update policies, each with its group assignments in the source's order.
- Org-wide (Global) policies, external access, guest access, cloud storage, meeting settings, and guest meeting, messaging and calling settings, changed to match the source.
- Built-in policies are left out. Policies assigned only to single users are listed.
Teams PowerShell is bundled with the app.
SharePoint and OneDrive
Sharing, sync and site creation settings, changed to match the source. Sites referenced by policies are matched by the same path in the destination's SharePoint.
Admin roles
Each type can need its own admin role in the destination, such as Compliance Administrator, Teams Administrator or SharePoint Administrator. Pre-flight checks them before deploying.
